Rui blames PS for potential exclusion of police station from State Budget

Rui Marques, president of the Municipality of Ponta do Sol, publicly held the Socialist Party responsible for the potential exclusion of the construction of the new PSP police station from the next State Budget. The mayor made this accusation during the solemn session commemorating the 525th anniversary of the municipality.

According to Rui Marques, if the construction of the new police station is not included in the State Budget, the responsibility falls exclusively on the PS and the current regional leader of the party.

The mayor hardened his discourse against the Socialist Party, accusing the political force of blocking this investment considered important for the municipality.

The solemn session of the 525th anniversary of the municipality thus served as a stage for this strong political accusation, with Rui Marques already preemptively attributing blame to the PS if the police station is not included in the next State Budget.
