Two weeks after the deluge that hit the border zone between Nepal and Tibet, the official death toll is approaching 1,400, while around 5,500 people remain missing. Rescue teams continue their searches, mainly in the tunnels of hydroelectric power plants, but hope of finding survivors is fading with each passing day.
