A man prevented a 3-year-old child from being hit in front of a commercial establishment in Puebla, Mexico. Merchant Luis Enrique Cruz ran to the girl, who had left the supermarket heading toward a busy avenue, and threw himself to pull her out of the path of a car.

The moment was captured by a security camera on Sunday (6), around 2 PM. In the footage, it is possible to see the girl running out of the supermarket "El Rey del Ahorro" toward the street, while her parents try, unsuccessfully, to stop her.

Upon noticing the child's movement, an employee who was restocking merchandise ran after her and managed to reach her just before she was hit by a car traveling on the avenue.

Luis Enrique Cruz said he acted on instinct when he saw the dangerous situation. The merchant's heroic act was widely shared on social media, where the video of the moment went viral.

Scam uses fake R$1,050 benefit to deceive victims

Cybercriminals are using a fake benefit called Auxílio Reconstrução 2026, promising R$1,050, to carry out scams. Kaspersky identified three fraudulent websites that mimic the visual identity of the official government portal. The scam takes advantage of the name of a real benefit created in 2024 for victims of floods in Rio Grande do Sul, which paid R$5,100 in a single installment. The Ministry of Integration and Regional Development issued an official alert clarifying that there is no new Auxílio Reconstrução of R$1,050 and advising the population to be wary of messages promising benefits through access to links or providing personal data on unofficial pages.
