cbn8 September 2026 at 17:49

A technical problem in the UK's air traffic control systems caused mass flight delays and cancellations on Tuesday (8). The main air traffic control services provider, the National Air Traffic Service (NATS), confirmed it is investigating a technical failure that is causing disruptions in flight departure systems. The company apologized for the inconvenience and advised passengers to check the status of their flights directly with the airlines.

Among the thousands of affected passengers are Arsenal players, who were supposed to travel to Naples, Italy, for the first Champions League match against Napoli. The team remained at the training ground longer than planned and will arrive at their destination late, after 9 PM local time.

The country's main airports were impacted, including London's Heathrow and Gatwick. In total, approximately 300 flights were cancelled due to the technical problems in the British air traffic control systems.

Fraudsters send fake official communications promising speed in processes, miraculous discounts, or immediate release of funds, requesting advance payments via Pix or fake bank slips. In the case of Minha Casa, Minha Vida, scams involve promises of "jumping the queue" or guaranteed financing approval through advance fees. The campaign aims to raise awareness among citizens about how to protect themselves from these tricks.
