Antonio Gómez was murdered by his stepson at his residence in San Isidro, where he had been living for more than a decade on the second floor of Calle Arquitecto Segura Lago, at number eight. The National Police are looking for the stepson, identified as Danil, as the suspect in the crime.
Neighbors who knew Antonio did not hear any screams or arguments that could have anticipated the tragedy. The door of his home faces the interior courtyard of the building, and no sound suggested that anything could happen in that place.
A neighbor named Julio expressed his surprise at the event, describing Antonio as a very friendly person whom he only knew as a neighbor. According to Julio, what happened has no logical explanation.
Julio also commented on the suspect, stating that Danil was a very reserved person, who only said hello and goodbye, and that the little contact he had was upon entering the building. The neighbor stated that he would never have expected something like this to occur.
