Forest producers want Protected Geographical Indication for "Alcácer Pine Nut"

The Association of Forest Producers of Alentejo Litoral (ANSUB) will lead a project for the creation of the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) for "Alcácer Pine Nut", in the district of Setúbal. The information was made public today, revealing the association's plans to protect and enhance this regional product.

The president of ANSUB, Pedro Silveira, explained to the Lus news agency that the initiative aims to "develop the Alcácer pine nut sector". The main objective is to recognize and preserve the unique characteristics of this product, granting it a certification that attests to its origin and quality.

Parpública confirms State entry in REN
