The firefighters from Salto located a woman who was lost in the Gerês area. The rescue operation mobilized a specialized team to the location where the woman was found.
For the operation, seven operatives and two vehicles were deployed, including an all-terrain rescue ambulance, suitable for the difficult terrain of the Gerês region.
The woman was successfully found by the authorities after the alert was given and the rescue operation was initiated.
