Nuno Teixeira, 27-year-old volleyball player from Fafe, will complete his fourth season at Vitória SC. The Portuguese international middle blocker, who already has 30 caps for the national team, has established himself as one of the main references of the group coached by coach Eduardo Faustino, currently being one of the captains of the Vitória formation.
The renewal comes after the best season of the player's career in Guimarães, in which he accumulated 281 points in 33 matches played. This contract extension represents the continuity of a sporting project that has been built over the last few seasons.
Nuno Teixeira revealed that the decision to extend the link with the club came naturally, highlighting the strong connection he built with the institution and the city. The player stated that the objectives presented by the club for the next season meet his personal and professional ambitions.
On an individual level, the middle blocker intends to continue growing and contributing to the goals set by Vitória SC. "I am where I want to be and I want to continue fighting," the player said to the official media of the Guimarães club.
