A security camera at a home in the city of Reno, Nevada, United States, captured an unusual thief last Thursday (9/3). A raccoon was filmed breaking into a delivery box left in the entrance hall of the house, where there was dog food.
Mike Peck, a resident of the home, told the Storyful news agency that when they went to pick up the delivery with the dog food, they noticed the box had been moved and had a hole in it. The camera footage shows the sneaky animal getting into the packaging and eating the product intended for their pets.
According to Peck in an interview with Yahoo!, the household dogs could not eat the food because the raccoon had gotten into the bag and could transmit diseases. As a precaution, the family discarded the entire box. The resident also stated that the raccoon did not stay long after getting the food.
The case, although it looks like a cartoon scene, happened in real life and was recorded by the security cameras at Mike Peck's home in Reno.
