Avenida Almirante Reis flooded on a day without rain

An accumulation of water with a dirty and yellowish appearance was recorded this Tuesday on Avenida Almirante Reis, in Lisbon. The surprising fact is that it was not raining in the city that day. The causes of this water accumulation are still not known. The phenomenon was reported without it being possible to determine its origin.

Record: third participant dies during Burning Man in US desert

A third person died during the 40th anniversary edition of the Burning Man festival, which ended on Monday (9/7) with the burning of the giant effigy. The victim, not yet identified, died en route to a hospital in Reno, Nevada, about 190 kilometers from the event site in the Black Rock desert. The sheriff of Pershing County confirmed the third death, highlighting that although the festival records an average of one death per year, this edition has already reached a record with three fatalities. The cause of death has not been clarified, and this third death occurs after the death of two participants at the festival site the previous week.
