A 20-year-old Brazilian young woman named Nathally Alves died after being hit by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter in Orlando, United States, on Friday. The case is being investigated by American authorities.
Nathally had moved to the United States in January of this year. Before leaving Brazil, she lived on Ilha do Governador, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The young woman was on her way to school to pick up her younger sister when the accident happened.
According to the victim's aunt, Cláudia Ribeiro, Nathally was hit by a vehicle right after leaving the condominium where she lived, in Florida. The family reported that the young woman was riding an electric scooter and was trying to cross the street on the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Cláudia described the situation as a huge pain and an endless sadness, stating that the family is very shaken by the loss.
