She went to spend the holidays at her uncle's house, in Amadora. What happened to her led the Judicial Police to act within days

A 13-year-old girl, residing in Alentejo, is believed to have been raped by her own uncle during a holiday stay at his house, in Amadora. The crime is believed to have occurred while the young girl was spending the holidays with the relative.

The suspect is a 25-year-old foreign citizen. The Judicial Police acted swiftly and managed to arrest the individual just a few days after the facts occurred. Following the arrest, the suspect was placed in preventive detention.

The victim is currently safe, with her mother, after being removed from the dangerous situation.

Record: third participant dies during Burning Man in US desert

A third person died during the 40th anniversary edition of the Burning Man festival, which ended on Monday (9/7) with the burning of the giant effigy.
