The Lousã City Council approved the allocation of 84,250 euros in financial support to 26 cultural and recreational entities in the municipality. The measure aims to ensure the continuity of associative activity and support transportation expenses for these organizations.
Of the total amount, 76,200 euros are intended for the regular activities of the associations, that is, for the current operation of the associations. The remaining 8,050 euros correspond to specific support for transportation expenses.
The support covers a diverse set of associations in the cultural and recreational sector of the municipality, allowing them to continue their projects and activities among local populations. This decision reflects the council's commitment to valuing the associative movement as a fundamental pillar of community life in the territory.
