Porto's former mayor, Nuno Cardoso, has died. A professional engineer, the former politician and university professor was a central figure in the conception of the Porto Metro. He passed away yesterday at the age of 64 at Hospital de Santo António. Nuno Magalhães da Silva Cardoso was born in 1961 and died on September 7, 2026, at the age of 64.
