JPP debates 'Ferry and Territorial Continuity' to create an alternative to the PSD/CDS study

dnoticias.pt8 September 2026 at 09:44

JPP promotes this Wednesday reflection sessions on the economic-financial study for the maritime ferry connection between Madeira and the mainland. The event, under the theme "Ferry and Territorial Continuity", aims to create an alternative to the conclusions of that study.

The session will feature several personalities who will bring different perspectives and thoughts on the matter. The debate will take place at the IDEIA room, next to the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, starting at 9:30 am.

The party considers that it is necessary to analyze in depth the implications of the maritime ferry connection for passengers and cargo, in order to guarantee the territorial continuity of the autonomous region with mainland Portugal.
