Actress from 'Quem ama cuida', Haonê Thinar stars in film with 70% of cast made up of people with disabilities

Haonê Thinar, currently on air as Ivana in the soap opera "Quem ama cuida", will also be seen in the film "90 decibéis", a production by the Films Department of Globo Studios that premieres on the 28th on TV Globo. In the film, the actress plays Yara, one of the employees at an accessible station where the protagonist Ana, played by Benedita Casé Zerbini, starts working after discovering her hearing loss will progress to profound deafness.

From this coexistence in the workplace, Ana grows closer to Yara, a character described as having a strong personality who exerts natural leadership among her colleagues. The film stands out for its representativeness, with approximately 70% of the cast made up of people with disabilities.

The screenplay for "90 decibéis" is by Julia Spadaccini and the direction is by Fellipe Barbosa. The production aims to portray the reality of people with hearing disabilities, bringing a narrative that brings the viewer closer to this experience through characters played by actors who share the same life experiences.
