The latest Pitagórica poll, conducted for TVI and CNN, reveals a significant shift in the Portuguese political landscape. According to the published data, if elections were held today, the Socialist Party would come first with 27.9%, followed by Chega with 27.1% and the Democratic Alliance with 25.7%.
Taking into account the margin of error of plus or minus 3.53%, there is the possibility of a technical tie between the parties assessed, making the electoral race particularly competitive.
Regarding the assessment of the executive, the poll indicates that 58% of Portuguese give a negative rating to the Government and 59% disapprove of the performance of Prime Minister Luís Montenegro. Despite this, two-thirds of respondents believe Montenegro will comply with the legislation until the end.
Regarding the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, 65% of Portuguese believe he does not meet the conditions to remain in office.
