Inauguration of the New Synthetic Turf | Pereira Bom Sports Field (Bencatel)

SAPO Notícias7 September 2026 at 20:30

The new synthetic turf of the Pereira Bom Sports Field, in Bencatel, was inaugurated on September 5th. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Inácio Esperança, Mayor of the Municipality of Vila Viçosa.

The work was promoted by the Municipality of Vila Viçosa and represents an important investment for the parish of Bencatel. This intervention aims to improve the sports conditions available to residents and local associations.

With the completion of this work, sports practitioners in Bencatel now have a sports field with synthetic turf, which allows for more frequent and longer-lasting use compared to traditional natural turfs.
