Estoril Praia and Arouca drew zero-all today in the last game of the fifth matchday of the Portuguese I Liga football championship, in a match played at Estoril Stadium. The result brought happiness to neither team, which continue to face different difficulties in the standings.
Arouca secured their first draw in the 2026/27 edition of the championship, remaining in fifth place in the table, now with 10 points. The team tied on points with Benfica, who occupy the position immediately above, although the reds have one fewer game played.
Estoril Praia, for their part, continue without knowing victory this season. The team earned their second draw after three consecutive defeats, remaining in 17th position, which is the second-to-last in the standings.
With only two points earned, Estoril Praia share the same points tally with Alverca, both in a delicate situation in the lower zone of the Portuguese I Liga standings.
