Former winger Cristian Tello announced his retirement from football at the age of 35. The Spanish player had been without a club since leaving football in 2023.

Tello wore the FC Porto colors during the 2014/15 season, having arrived at the Porto club on loan from Barcelona. The winger remained at FC Porto for half of the following season, thus completing his stay in the Invicta.

Throughout his career, Tello represented various clubs, including Barcelona, where he came through the youth ranks, as well as teams such as Bétis, Fiorentina and Al Ahli. The player was a Spain international, which gave him international prestige.

The news of the retirement comes after a period away from the pitch, marking the end of a career spanning more than a decade in professional football.
