The locality of Cabrela, in the municipality of Montemor-o-Novo, hosts between September 25 and 27 the fourth edition of the Alentejo Heritage Festival. The event promotes the encounter between the cultures of Portugal and Brazil through music, dance and contemporary creation.
The program includes proposals of samba, cante alentejano and fado, among other artistic expressions that celebrate the cultural heritage of the two nations. The festival seeks to create a space for dialogue between distinct musical traditions.
This year's edition focuses on sharing and valuing the Portuguese and Brazilian cultural heritages, inviting artists and audience to participate in an experience that crosses geographical and cultural borders through the arts.
