Why has spirituality gained space on social media?

Prayer videos upon waking up, faith-related posts on stories, and influencers openly talking about their beliefs have been gaining more and more space on social media. Among posts about routines, beauty, and wellness, the topic has started appearing in various ways and has become part of everyday conversations.

Devotional books are one of these forms of spiritual expression on social media. Generally, they gather messages for each day and invite the reader to dedicate a few minutes to reading, with themes that cover relationships, personal experiences, and spiritual life.

Writer Junior Rostirola presented, this past Saturday (5), in São Paulo, the seventh volume of "Coffee with God the Father," a series of devotionals created by him. With the theme "Daily Portions of Restoration," this edition gathers 365 messages about faith, family, new beginnings, and relationships.

For Rostirola, setting aside a few minutes for this type of reading can create a break amid the excess of information and commitments. According to him, the book was born from a deep time of prayer, fasting, and spiritual seeking.

From the Rio community, singer Lukinhas returns to Rock in Rio with two shows and reflects: 'The favela hasn't won yet'

Lukinhas, a singer born in the Asa Branca community, in Rio's Southwest Zone, fulfilled his dream of performing at Rock in Rio, doing two shows on the Highway Stage this Monday (7). The artist reflected on the distance between the favela and the festival, which happens so close to his community but never seemed accessible to its residents, who thought about selling water at the event's entrance, not buying tickets. "The favela hasn't won yet," Lukinhas declared, highlighting that being on stage represents a huge achievement, since this type of dream was never sold or offered to the community's children.

Historical crystal-encrusted look is a hit on Elton John show day at Rock in Rio; understand the history of the outfit

At Rock in Rio, Elton John fans obeyed the singer's request and came dressed in looks inspired by his career, but one outfit dominated the event: the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team outfit encrusted with Swarovski crystals. This is the uniform worn by Elton John during his historic performance at Dodger Stadium in October 1975, in front of more than 100,000 people, when he became the first pop-rock artist to perform there since the Beatles, nine years earlier. The outfit, designed by stylist Bob Mackie, became iconic and was the most reproduced by fans at the event, which took place on the September 7th holiday at Cidade do Rock.
