Kremlin does not rule out resuming trilateral peace negotiations with Ukraine and the USA

The Kremlin does not rule out resuming trilateral peace talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States, but it is still too early to talk about specific dates or locations. The Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed that Moscow does not rule out this trilateral format, noting that both Kiev and Jared Kushner have made statements to that effect.

Moscow has not yet received information about the contacts maintained by US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner with Ukrainian officials during their visit to Kiev on Sunday. Trump's envoys stated that the first talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky were "very significant" and allowed them to "learn a lot," hoping they have "opened new avenues" to reach a proposal that ends the war.

Peskov stressed that he cannot provide details about the content of the most recent American proposals, but acknowledged the possibility of a telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. The spokesman said Putin holds Trump's efforts "in high regard" and is grateful for his commitment to the path toward peace.
