The new Simplified Affordable Rental Regime (RSAA) came into effect on September 1st in Portugal, but the decree that defines the maximum rent limits by typology has not yet been published, and the electronic platform of the Housing Portal where landlords and tenants can register is also not operational. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing confirmed that the decree is "pending publication", but did not specify when the IHRU platform will be available.
