Works are underway to requalify Avenida António Enes and accesses to the Station and Loja do Cidadão of Queluz, in Sintra. The total investment exceeds 1.3 million euros.
The works are promoted by the Câmara Municipal de Sintra in partnership with the Municipal Services of Water and Sanitation of Sintra (SMAS). The interventions include the remodeling of water supply and sanitation networks, as well as the renewal of equipment for urban waste collection.
The intervention also includes the requalification of a central area of the city of Queluz, with the creation of new spaces for staying and leisure, improvements in pedestrian circulation and the construction of a new staircase.
The municipality intends to reinforce security and accessibility to existing services in the area, namely the railway station and the Loja do Cidadão of Queluz, which is located in the Mercado Municipal building, with the creation of accesses adapted to people with reduced mobility.
