The president of Chega, André Ventura, stated today that the party will continue to dialogue with the Government in fundamental areas, even after the probable rejection of the motion of censure presented by his party against the executive of Luís Montenegro.
Ventura added that he received a request for a meeting from the executive about the State Budget, signaling that the dialogue between Chega and the Government will not be exhausted with the vote on the motion of censure.
The leader of Chega made these statements to journalists at the Assembly of the Republic, where he was questioned about the future of relations between Chega and the AD, the coalition formed by the PSD and CDS.
The motion of censure was debated and voted on in the Assembly of the Republic, with its rejection being expected by the majority that supports the Government of Luís Montenegro.
