Europe launched its first commercial rocket into orbit

The German startup Isar Aerospace managed to place its Spectrum rocket into orbit, marking the first successful commercial orbital launch from European continental soil. The 28-meter rocket took off from the company's launch complex in Norway on Saturday night, carrying five small satellites.

This achievement represents a significant milestone in Europe's efforts to develop its own commercial space launch industry. The rocket successfully reached Earth's orbit, which the company celebrated with the message "We're in orbit!"

The launch occurred just four days before the Paris summit, with Europe having chosen to get ahead with this achievement. The feat was highlighted by Politico as a historic moment for the European space sector.

Badajoz advances with 1,913 million data center near the Alentejo border
