The Intermunicipal Community of Beira Baixa received funding of 57.34 million euros for the recovery of damage caused by storms in the region. This amount is intended for the reconstruction and restoration of areas affected by the meteorological phenomena.

The CIM of Beira Baixa revealed that 2,272 applications related to storm damages were registered. These applications represent a total value of 74.33 million euros in damages reported in the region.

The available amount of 57.34 million euros will allow recovery work to proceed, although the total value of reported damages exceeds the funding allocated. The intermunicipal authorities indicate that this financial support is essential to help the region recover from the effects of the storms.
