CDC Montalegre secured a 2-2 draw away to SC Braga B, thus continuing without knowing defeat in Series 1 of the Campeonato de Portugal. The boys from Montalegre came very close to leaving Braga with all three points, but ended up conceding the equalizer in stoppage time, in a match marked by a great goal from Alisson.
GD Bragança achieved an important away victory, beating Maia Lidador 0-1. The match was decided by a free kick from Pipo, described as a free kick from "downtown," which delighted those in the stands. The Bragança team thus remains unbeaten.
In the Trás-os-Montes derby, GD Chaves B came out on top against FC Vinhais 1-2, but had to pull off a comeback. FC Vinhais started better and opened the scoring through Keendji, Carlinhos restored equality before halftime, and Adílio completed the comeback in the final moments. The match also had a charitable character, with the home club raising funds for the BV Vinhais firefighters.
The third round was positive for three of the four Trás-os-Montes teams in competition. GD Bragança and CDC Montalegre continue to build a solid start, GD Chaves B gained new momentum with the derby victory, while FC Vinhais will have to react to reverse the negative start to the season.
