The Permanent Committee approved today, unanimously, the convening of a plenary for Tuesday to debate and vote on the motion of censure by the Chega party against the Government. The decision was made by all members present at the Committee.
The Chega party presented this motion of censure against the Government, intending to debate and submit to a vote its political position regarding the executive. The plenary will effectively take place on Tuesday.
The rejection of the motion of censure is, however, already guaranteed, since the Chega party does not have a sufficient parliamentary majority to approve its motion. The Government counts on the support of other parties to reject the censure.
