Universitat Jaume I starts the academic year with over 11,600 undergraduate students

Universitat Jaume I in Castelló today began the 2026-2027 academic year. The university welcomed the student community for another academic course.

The total number of students starting classes this year is over 11,600. Of these, 2,679 are first-year students enrolling at the university for the first time.

The institution offers 40 degree programs for students to choose from. This diverse academic offering attracts a significant number of students to the university.

With this start of the academic year, Universitat Jaume I reinforces its commitment to higher education in the Castelló region, welcoming a new generation of students to its campuses.
