The Chega party presented a censure motion against the government. José Luís Carneiro, the PS leader, announced that he will abstain from the vote, as will the remaining MPs of the Socialist Party.
This position arises in a context of political tension, with the opposition parties expressing their positions regarding the motion presented by Chega.
In parallel, the recent police searches carried out at Praia da Foz, in Sesimbra, were also analysed, in a context of investigation that has been sparking political interest.
