The Portuguese Government will meet with all parties with parliamentary seats at the end of the month to discuss the State Budget for 2027. The information was confirmed to Agência Ecclesia by a source from the office of the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Carlos Abreu Amorim.
According to the ministerial office, the meetings between the executive and the parties will take place, as is customary, at the Assembly of the Republic. The objective of these meetings is to prepare next year's budget.
The president of Chega, André Ventura, revealed that his party received a meeting request from the executive. This is a customary practice of the Government, which usually promotes these consultation meetings with all political forces represented in parliament before the presentation of the State Budget.
