New local accommodation registrations suspended in Santa Cruz from October 19

The Municipality of Santa Cruz will suspend, starting October 19, the authorization of new local accommodation registrations in the municipality. The council informed today that this measure comes as part of the preparation of a new municipal regulation for this activity.

The council simultaneously opened a public participation period lasting 30 working days. During this period, citizens, owners and other interested parties may submit their contributions and suggestions on the matter.

The process aims to involve the residents in defining the new regulation, ensuring that the community has a voice in the elaboration of the rules that will govern local accommodation in the municipality.

Chamber Committee approves weapon carrying for traffic agents, court officers and other public servants
