Miguel Albuquerque confirmed today that the regional minimum wage in Madeira will be increased to 1,050 euros next year. The announcement was made on the sidelines of the ceremony for the delivery of six controlled-cost housing units in Porto Moniz.
The President of the Madeiran Regional Government assured that this measure is coordinated with the CDS-PP and falls within the commitments made between the two parties for the current legislative term. Albuquerque stressed that the increase does not constitute an isolated initiative, but rather a concerted decision within the coalition that supports the government.
