Huawei presented the Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design, the second generation of its tri-foldable smartphone, just days before the awaited presentation of the foldable iPhone. This launch positions the Chinese brand once again at the forefront of innovation in foldable devices.

The new model features a screen that "disappears" when folded, offering a cleaner and more integrated visual experience. This characteristic represents a significant evolution compared to the first generation of the device.

The Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design features Huawei's most powerful chip, demonstrating the Chinese company's commitment to competing at the highest level in the premium smartphone market. This specification places the device among the most powerful on the market.

The launch occurs at a time of intense competition in the foldable smartphone segment, with Apple preparing to reveal its own foldable device. Huawei thus seeks to consolidate its leadership position in this product category.

Badajoz advances with 1,913 million data center near the Alentejo border

The Junta de Extremadura granted prior administrative authorization to the electrical infrastructures that will serve the Nostrum Evergreen Data Center in Badajoz, an investment of 1,913 million euros that foresees the creation of 330 jobs and a grid access capacity of up to 300 MW. The project, promoted by Data Riocaya, SLU, is located in the Southwest European Logistics Platform, a few kilometers from the border with the Alentejo, and includes a 400/220 kV connection substation and underground high voltage lines. The data center, classified as an Autonomous Regional Business Project of Interest (PREMIA), has an estimated completion horizon of 2031.
