Government prepares agricultural diesel bonus

Observador7 September 2026 at 14:17

The Minister of Economy announced that the Government will implement measures to mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices on the agricultural sector. The agricultural diesel bonus comes as a response to the difficulties faced by farmers in light of the price increases.

The official guaranteed that concrete measures will be taken to support the sector, acknowledging that the increase in production costs represents a significant challenge for agricultural activity.

Castro Almeida expressed concern about the increase in costs in the sector, considering the current situation as "concerning" for farmers.

The Executive is thus preparing a response to minimize the effects of rising fuel prices on agriculture, in a context of economic pressure on the primary sector.
