Born Angola, a branch of the Portuguese creative agency Born, developed a documentary for Standard Bank Angola titled "Tchitundu-Hulu – Our Everlasting Values". The project is a tribute to African rock art sites located in the Namibe desert and follows Angolan photographer and explorer Jessé Manuel on a journey where he connects with ancestral peoples such as the Mucubais and the natural heritage of southern Angola.
The photographic collection gathered on the rock paintings and engravings of Tchitundu-Hulu was delivered by Standard Bank to the National Archives of Angola, enabling the preservation of this threatened heritage for future generations and contributing to the site's nomination for UNESCO World Heritage status.
The campaign featured a 15-minute documentary, a 3-minute trailer and short versions of 45 and 15 seconds. Filming took place over a week, covering thousands of kilometers across three Angolan provinces — Huíla, Namibe and Luanda. The media plan also includes social networks, radio, press and outdoor.
The documentary was produced by Geração 80 in co-production with BRO, directed by Pedro Patrocínio, with executive production by Tchiloia Lara and sound design by the Mezzanine studio. Born Angola also created a graphic line inspired by the stylization of the rock art images, used in exhibitions, events and the brand's promotional materials.
