Samba do Trabalhador will hold a special edition on the September 7th holiday, Independence Day, at the courtyard of Renascença Clube, in the neighborhood of Andaraí, in Rio de Janeiro. The event takes place on Monday afternoon and promises to celebrate the beginning of the new week with music.
The highlight of this special edition is the return of singer and songwriter Nego Álvaro to Samba do Trabalhador, after three years without participating in the event. The artist himself expressed his joy at the return, inviting the public to share the celebration.
The samba circle is led by Moacyr Luz, who created Samba do Trabalhador in 2005. According to the publication, the event was born in a simple way, on an afternoon among friends, and became a cultural tradition in the city.
