Casa FC Porto Espinho organized, on September 5th, a special day in Espinho for children and adolescents designated as "Resistentes," accompanied by their respective families. The initiative was promoted in partnership with the Portuguese League Against Cancer – Northern Regional Branch, bringing together various entities from the municipality around a common goal: providing moments of fellowship, learning, and joy to young people and their families.
The journey began at the Espinho Equestrian Center, where participants had the opportunity to get close to horses and experience something different. This was followed by a visit to Engineering Regiment No. 3, a military unit based in the city that opened its doors to allow young people to learn more about that reality and its capabilities.
The program continued at Aeroclube da Costa Verde – Espinho, where a flight experience was planned. However, the weather conditions did not allow this activity to take place, with the promise of a future return to fulfill this moment, which will be one of the highlights of a later visit.
The stop at the Espinho Multimedia Center closed the program, with space for culture, cinema, and fun. The true meaning of the initiative lay in the encounter between participants, family members, volunteers, and host entities, seeking to create happy memories, open horizons, and reinforce that courage, friendship, and determination can make a different day possible.
