The exhibition "A TREE", on display in Tavira, takes as its starting point a monumental carob tree over 600 years old, located in Moncarapacho. The longevity of this tree serves as a motif for a reflection on the Algarve territory, memory and nature.
The artistic project is developed by artists Daniel Moreira and Rita Castro Neves, resulting from three years of research around this centuries-old tree. The initiative allows the public to learn about the artists' creative journey and the different visual languages used in constructing the project.
A guided visit to the exhibition is scheduled for next Saturday, September 12, at 10:30, led by curator Ana Anacleto, who accompanied the entire creation process. Participation is free of charge, but requires prior registration through an online form.
