The coordinator of the Left Block in the Azores, António Lima, today defended that the Regional Budget for 2027 should have as its main priority responding to the increase in the cost of living in the region.
António Lima stated that the Budget should include concrete measures, including reducing fuel prices, strengthening the population's incomes, and measures in the housing sector.
The regional leader of BE considered that the increase in the cost of living has been a consequence that affects the Azoreans and that it needs an urgent response from the regional government through the next Budget.
This position of the Left Block comes in the context of the preparation of the Regional Budget for 2027, where the party intends to influence the investment and expenditure priorities of the Azores government.
