XXIII National Contest of Minhota Breed Bovines Starts on the 12th in Ponte de Lima

The XXIII National Contest of Minhota Breed Bovines will take place on September 12th, starting at 09:30, at Expolima, in Ponte de Lima. The event takes place within the scope of the Feiras Novas and also includes the Barrosã Breed Bovine Contest and the Cachena Breed Bovine Contest.

The contest represents a moment of valorization of Portuguese native breeds, of the breeders and of a tradition deeply linked to the Limiano territory. This tradition repeats itself over several years in the region.

The event is open to the public and aims to give visibility to the work of cattle breeders of the traditional breeds of Minho, contributing to the preservation and promotion of these bovine breeds characteristic of the region.

Festivals honor Our Lady of Health
