Seven districts in mainland Portugal are under yellow warning due to intense heat. The warning will be in effect until 21:00.

The expected maximum temperatures can reach 38 degrees, indicating a significant heat wave.

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) issued this warning to alert the population to adverse weather conditions.

The population is advised to take precautions against these high temperatures.
