Serious injury in accident that mobilizes INEM helicopter and cuts traffic on A6

A collision between two light vehicles occurred this Monday morning in the Alto da Abaneja area, direction Montemor-o-Novo – Évora, causing two injured. The alert was given at 09:09.

According to the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Central Alentejo, one of the victims suffered serious injuries, while the other had minor injuries. The seriously injured person mobilized an INEM helicopter to the accident site.

The accident forced the closure of the lane in the Montemor-o-Novo – Évora direction, causing a traffic queue that already extends to the A6 entrance, in Montemor-o-Novo.
