The Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo alerted on its social media that the name of Luís Nobre, president of the Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo, is being fraudulently used in electronic mail messages, constituting an attempted fraud and misappropriation of identity.
Emails sent from the address [email protected] have been detected circulating, in which the sender falsely impersonates the president of the municipality. The Câmara Municipal clarified that this email address is fake and has no connection to Luís Nobre.
The municipality called on all recipients of these messages not to reply, not to open any links or possible attachments, deleting the message and reporting it as fraud.
The statement aims to alert the public to this fraudulent situation and prevent people from being deceived by these fake emails circulating in the name of the president of the Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo.
