Praia da Vitória approves two new strategic instruments

The Municipal Assembly of Praia da Vitória approved on September 1st two new strategic instruments for the municipality. The documents approved were the Municipal Plan for Equality and Non-Discrimination (PMIND) and the Local Action Plan for Smart Territories.

The ordinary session took place at the Academy of Youth and Arts of Terceira Island, a location that hosted the members of the municipal assembly for the voting on these planning instruments.

The Municipal Plan for Equality and Non-Discrimination aims to promote equality and combat discrimination at the municipal level, while the Local Action Plan for Smart Territories establishes guidelines for the development of smart solutions in the territory.

Both plans represent strategic commitments of the municipality of Praia da Vitória in areas considered priority for local development and the well-being of the population.
