Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held "substantial" negotiations with United States special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Kyiv. It was the first visit by the two special envoys to the Ukrainian capital.

The talks were described as "very significant" by both parties. The American envoys expressed the desire to achieve progress in the negotiations by winter.
