Former contestant Stavros Floros, participant of the thirteenth edition of the television program "Supervivientes Greece", filed a lawsuit in a Miami circuit court seeking compensation of 100 million dollars. The lawsuit was filed against the program's producers, including AcunMedya and businessman Acun Ilıcalı, as well as against the Greek television channel Skai TV.
The accident occurred on May 11, 2026 in the waters of the Dominican Republic, during filming of the program. The young man suffered serious injuries that resulted in the amputation of his left leg, an event that profoundly changed his life.
The legal action arises in response to what was described as a "hell" during the television adventure, with the competition ending dramatically and devastatingly for the contestant. The million-dollar amount demanded reflects, according to the plaintiff, the severity of the accident's consequences and the responsibility of the entities involved in organizing the program.
