Praça de Giraldo, in Évora, received the 45th National Folklore Encounter, an event that brought together four folklore groups from different regions of the country. The Rancho Folclórico Flor do Alto Alentejo, from Évora, was one of the participants in the encounter, which also featured the Rancho Folclórico Lagoa da Palha, from Pinhal Novo, the Rancho Folclórico da Branca, from Coruche, and the Rancho Folclórico "Os Camponeses" de São Vicente do Paúl, in Santarém.
The square was filled with spectators throughout the event, which transformed the space into a place of celebration of Portuguese traditions. The public watched the performances of the four groups on stage, who presented their regional cultures through traditional dance and music.
The encounter reaffirmed the role of these cultural manifestations in the preservation of Portuguese intangible heritage, bringing together participants from various parts of the country in an event that celebrated roots and local traditions.
